The phrase el-heharim {אֶל־הֶֽהָרִים֙ | ʾel-hă-hā-rîm} ‘on the mountains’ indicates illicit cultic feasting, and the clause ve-et-eshet reehu timme {וְאֶת־אֵ֥שֶׁת רֵעֵ֖הוּ טִמֵּֽא | wə-ʾet-ʾē-šeṯ rē-ʿē-hû tim-mēʾ} ‘and he defiled his neighbor’s wife’ uses the emphatic Piel to underscore the severity of adultery.
