וָאֲטַמְּאֵ֤א{va-a-tam-ME###vaa-ah-tahm-MEE###and I defiled} אוֹתָם֙{o-TAM###oh-TAHM###them} בְּמַתְּנוֹתָ֔ם{be-mat-te-no-TAM###beh-maht-teh-noh-TAHM###by their gifts} בְּהַעֲבִ֖יר{be-ha-a-VIR###beh-hah-ah-VEER###in causing to pass over or offering up} כָּל־פֶּ֣טֶר{KAL-PE-ter###KAAL-PEH-tehr###every first to open} רָ֑חַם{RA-kham###RAA-khahm###a womb} לְמַ֣עַן{le-MA-an###leh-MAH-ahn###so that} אֲשִׁמֵּ֔ם{a-shim-MEM###ah-shihm-MEHM###I might make them desolate} לְמַ֙עַן֙{le-MA-an###leh-MAH-ahn###so that} אֲשֶׁ֣ר{a-SHER###ah-SHEHR###that} יֵדְע֔וּ{ye-de-U###yeh-deh-OO###they may know} אֲשֶׁ֖ר{a-SHER###ah-SHEHR###that} אֲנִ֣י{a-NI###ah-NEE###I} יְהוָֽה׃ס{ye-ho-VAH###yeh-ho-VAH###LORD}
