Two parallel beyad {בְּיַד | bə-yad} ‘into the hand’ phrases each introduce a relative clause: asher sanet {אֲשֶׁ֣ר שָׂנֵ֑את | ʾăšer śānēʾt} ‘whom you hated’ and asher-naqah nafshekh mehem {אֲשֶׁר־נָקְעָ֥ה נַפְשֵׁ֖ךְ מֵהֶֽם | ʾăšer-nāqəʿāh nap̄šēḵ mēhem} ‘from whom your inner being recoiled from them’. The repetition and tight parallelism heighten the irony: those rejected with hostility and revulsion become the very agents into whose power she is delivered.
