Ezekiel 23:4:1וּשְׁמוֹתָ֗ןushemotanand their names
Ezekiel 23:4:2אָהֳלָ֤הaholaOholah Ezekiel 23:4:3הַגְּדוֹלָה֙hagedolathe great, the elder Ezekiel 23:4:4וְאָהֳלִיבָ֣הveaholivaand Oholibah Ezekiel 23:4:5אֲחוֹתָ֔הּakhotaher sister Ezekiel 23:4:6וַתִּֽהְיֶ֣ינָהvatiheyenaand they became Ezekiel 23:4:7לִ֔יlito me, mine Ezekiel 23:4:8וַתֵּלַ֖דְנָהvateladnaand they bore, and they gave birth Ezekiel 23:4:9בָּנִ֣יםbanimsons Ezekiel 23:4:10וּבָנ֑וֹתuvanotand daughters Ezekiel 23:4:11וּשְׁמוֹתָ֕ןushemotanand their names Ezekiel 23:4:12שֹׁמְר֣וֹןshomeronSamaria Ezekiel 23:4:13אָהֳלָ֔הaholaOholah Ezekiel 23:4:14וִירוּשָׁלַ֖͏ִםvirushalimand Jerusalem Ezekiel 23:4:15אָהֳלִיבָֽה׃aholivaOholibah
4. Formal Translation
And their names were Aholah the elder and Aholibah her sister, and they became Mine and bore sons and daughters. Samaria is Aholah, and Jerusalem is Aholibah.
4. Dynamic Translation
The older sister was named Aholah and her sister Aholibah. They became Mine and had sons and daughters. Aholah represents Samaria, and Aholibah represents Jerusalem.
