9. Formal Translation And all the men of Judah and Benjamin assembled in Jerusalem within three days; it was the ninth month on the twentieth day of the month. And all the people sat in the square before the house of God {Elohim, Sacred Dwelling}, trembling because of the matter and because of the rains. |
9. Dynamic Translation So the men of Judah and Benjamin were in Jerusalem by the third day. It was the twentieth day of the ninth month. The people sat in the open square before the house of God {Elohim, Place of Worship}, shaking from anxiety and the battering rains. |
