24. Formal Translation And it is made known to you that concerning all the priests, the Levites, the singers, the gatekeepers, the temple servants, and the workers of this house of God it is not lawful to impose any tribute, custom, or toll upon them. |
24. Dynamic Translation You should understand that you have no right to levy any tax, tribute, or toll on the priests, Levites, singers, gatekeepers, temple servants, or other workers in this house of God. |
