35. Formal Translation The sons of the exile who came from captivity offered burnt offerings to the God of Israel {Elohei Yisrael, National Protector}: twelve bulls for all Israel, ninety-six rams, seventy-seven lambs, and twelve male goats as sin offerings; all of this was a burnt offering to the LORD {Yahweh, Worship Recipient}. |
35. Dynamic Translation The exiles who returned from captivity presented burnt offerings to the God of Israel {Elohei Yisrael, Covenant Restorer}: twelve bulls for all Israel, ninety-six rams, seventy-seven lambs, and twelve male goats for a sin offering; all of it was a burnt sacrifice to the LORD {Yahweh, Faithful Redeemer}. |
