4. Formal Translation Everyone who trembled at the words of the God of Israel{Elohei Yisrael, Divine Lawgiver} drew near to me on account of the unfaithfulness of the returning exiles, and I sat appalled until the evening offering. |
4. Dynamic Translation Then all who feared the words of the God of Israel{Elohei Yisrael, Faithful Judge} came to me because of the betrayal by the returning exiles, and I remained shaken until the time of the evening sacrifice. |
