Ezra 9:5:1וּבְמִנְחַ֣תuveminkhatand at the offering of
Ezra 9:5:2הָעֶ֗רֶבhaerevthe evening Ezra 9:5:3קַ֚מְתִּיkamtiI rose Ezra 9:5:4מִתַּֽעֲנִיתִ֔יmittaanitifrom my fasting Ezra 9:5:5וּבְקָרְעִ֥יuvekareand with my tearing Ezra 9:5:6בִגְדִ֖יvigdimy garment Ezra 9:5:7וּמְעִילִ֑יumeiliand my cloak Ezra 9:5:8וָֽאֶכְרְעָה֙vaekhreaand I knelt Ezra 9:5:9עַל־בִּרְכַּ֔יalbirkaiupon my knees Ezra 9:5:10וָאֶפְרְשָׂ֥הvaefresaand I spread out Ezra 9:5:11כַפַּ֖יkhapaimy palms Ezra 9:5:12אֶל־יְהוָ֥הelyahwehto the LORD Ezra 9:5:13אֱלֹהָֽי׃elohaimy God
5. Formal Translation
At the evening offering, I rose from my fasting, and with my garment and my robe torn, I knelt down and spread out my hands to the LORD my God {Yahweh Elohai, Faithful Hearer}.
5. Dynamic Translation
When the evening sacrifice came, I rose from my fast. My clothes and cloak were torn, and I fell to my knees, stretching out my hands to the LORD my God {Yahweh Elohai, Prayer Receiver}.
