Wait until everything looks clear before praying

Pause, invite God's Spirit to work, and take the next faithful step

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have lived in darkness and sinned against you. I turn from my sin and need your mercy. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. Be my Lord, bring your light into my life, and make me yours. Amen.

Come Into My Dark Places

Lord, renew your Church where we have become shapeless, empty, or dim. Hover over our worship, our witness, and our love; bring your holy order where there is confusion, and your light where there is darkness. Make us attentive to your Spirit and ready to move when you move, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Renew Your Church in the Dark Places

Father, where my life feels unfinished or dark, remind me that your Spirit is near. Give me peace to wait, courage to trust, and grace for the next small step, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Peace in Unformed Places

Pray by naming one area that feels empty or disordered. Ask God to hover over it with his presence, show you one faithful next step, and give you patience to wait for his work.

Ask for Shape and Direction

Bring thanks for: God's presence before circumstances improve; the Spirit's nearness in chaos; the hope that darkness does not have the last word.

Thank God for His Presence Before the Light Appears

Pray for: someone whose life feels unformed or empty; people facing confusion, grief, or fear; that God's light and order would begin to grow in places that seem hopeless.

Pray for Those in Darkness
