   and now swear to me here by God if you deal falsely toward me and toward my offspring and toward my posterity according to the kindness that I showed to you you shall do to me and to the land where you have sojourned in it

Exegesis

The Niphal imperative hiššāḇəʿāh {הִשָּׁבְעָה | hiš-šā-ḇə-ʿāh} ‘swear’ takes lī {לִּי | lī} ‘to me’ as indirect object and the prepositional phrase bəʾelohim {בֵאלֹהִים | bē-ʾĕ-lō-hîm} ‘by God’ as witness.
