Source Text: Hebrew (WLC) Genesis 24:46:1 ⧉וַתְּמַהֵ֗רvatemaher{And} she hurried Genesis 24:46:2 ⧉וַתּ֤וֹרֶדvatored{And} she let down Genesis 24:46:3 ⧉כַּדָּהּ֙kadahher jar Genesis 24:46:4 ⧉מֵֽעָלֶ֔יהָmealehafrom upon her Genesis 24:46:5 ⧉וַתֹּ֣אמֶרvatomer{And} she said Genesis 24:46:6 ⧉שְׁתֵ֔הshetedrink Genesis 24:46:7 ⧉וְגַם־גְּמַלֶּ֖יךָvegamgemalekhaand also your camels Genesis 24:46:8 ⧉אַשְׁקֶ֑הashekeI will give drink Genesis 24:46:9 ⧉וָאֵ֕שְׁתְּvaesht{And} I drank Genesis 24:46:10 ⧉וְגַ֥םvegamand also Genesis 24:46:11 ⧉הַגְּמַלִּ֖יםhagemalimthe camels Genesis 24:46:12 ⧉הִשְׁקָֽתָה׃hishekatashe gave drink |
| 46. Formal Translation She hurried and lowered her jug from upon her and said, “Drink, and I also will give your camels a drink.” So I drank, and she also gave the camels a drink. |
| 46. Dynamic Translation She quickly took her jar off her shoulder and said, “Have a drink, and I will water your camels too.” So I drank, and she gave water to the camels as well. |
