| 36. Formal Translation And he said, “Is it because his name was called Jacob that he has supplanted me these two times? He took my birthright, and look, now he has taken my blessing.” And he said, “Have you not reserved a blessing for me?” |
| 36. Dynamic Translation He said, “Is it not true that he is rightly named Jacob? He has supplanted me twice now—he took my birthright first, and now he has taken my blessing.” Then he said, “Have you really kept no blessing for me?” |
