Finally, wāmētû kol-haṣṣōn {וָמֵתוּ כָּל־הַצֹּאן | wāmētû kol-haṣṣōn} uses a vav + perfect to project the future result, “then all the flock will die.” The English rendering makes the conditional explicit with if–then and treats participles as present-tense verbs to preserve immediacy.
