| 2. Formal Translation This is the family record of Jacob: Joseph was seventeen years old and was tending the flock with his brothers, and he—the youth—was with the sons of Bilhah and the sons of Zilpah, his father’s wives. Joseph brought to their father a report about them that was evil. |
