| 19. Formal Translation But his father refused and said, “I know, my son, I know. He also will become a people, and he also will be great. Nevertheless, his younger brother will be greater than he, and his descendants will become a fullness of nations.” |
| 19. Dynamic Translation But his father would not agree and said, “I know, my boy, I understand. He will also become a people and grow strong, but his little brother will surpass him, and his children will grow into a multitude of nations.” |
