17. Formal Translation Though the fig tree does not blossom, and there is no yield on the vines, the labor of the olive fails, and the fields produce no food; the flock is cut off from the fold, and there are no cattle in the stalls. |
17. Dynamic Translation Even if the fig tree does not blossom and the vines bear no fruit, if the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, if the flock is cut off from the fold and no cattle remain in the stalls. |
