14. Formal Translation And the LORD {Yahweh, Motivator of Divine Activity} stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and the spirit of all the remnant of the people; and they came and did the work in the house of the LORD of hosts, their God. |
14. Dynamic Translation So the LORD energized Zerubbabel, son of Shealtiel, the governor of Judah, and Joshua, son of Jehozadak, the high priest, along with all the remnant of the people. They came together and began working on the house of the LORD of hosts {Yahweh Tzevaot, Commander of Armies}, their God. |
