24. Formal Translation Therefore, the utterance of the Lord, the LORD of hosts {Yahweh Tsevaot, Divine Commander}, the Mighty One of Israel: “Ah! I will comfort Myself regarding My adversaries, and I will avenge Myself on My enemies.” |
24. Dynamic Translation Therefore, the Lord, the LORD of armies {Yahweh Tsevaot, Supreme Warrior}, the Mighty One of Israel, declares: “Woe! I will find relief from those who oppose Me, and I will take vengeance on my enemies.” |
