Source Text: Hebrew (WLC) Isaiah 10:20:1 ⧉וְהָיָ֣הvehayaand it will be Isaiah 10:20:2 ⧉בַּיּ֣וֹםbayomin the day Isaiah 10:20:3 ⧉הַה֗וּאhahuthat Isaiah 10:20:4 ⧉לֹֽא־יוֹסִ֨יףloyosifhe will not continue Isaiah 10:20:5 ⧉ע֜וֹדodagain or any longer Isaiah 10:20:6 ⧉שְׁאָ֤רshearthe remnant of Isaiah 10:20:7 ⧉יִשְׂרָאֵל֙yisraelIsrael Isaiah 10:20:8 ⧉וּפְלֵיטַ֣תufeleitatand the survivors of Isaiah 10:20:9 ⧉בֵּֽית־יַעֲקֹ֔בbetyaakovthe house of Jacob Isaiah 10:20:10 ⧉לְהִשָּׁעֵ֖ןlehishshaento lean Isaiah 10:20:11 ⧉עַל־מַכֵּ֑הוּalmakehuon the one striking him or it Isaiah 10:20:12 ⧉וְנִשְׁעַ֗ןvenishanbut he will lean Isaiah 10:20:13 ⧉עַל־יְהוָ֛הalyahwehon the LORD Isaiah 10:20:14 ⧉קְד֥וֹשׁkedoshthe Holy One of Isaiah 10:20:15 ⧉יִשְׂרָאֵ֖לyisraelIsrael Isaiah 10:20:16 ⧉בֶּאֱמֶֽת׃beemetin truth |
20. Formal Translation And it will come to pass in that day that the remnant of Israel and the survivors of the house of Jacob will no longer depend on the one who struck them, but will rely on the LORD{Yahweh, Faithful Redeemer}, the Holy One of Israel in truth. |
20. Dynamic Translation On that day the remnant of Israel and those who escape from the house of Jacob will cease trusting the oppressor and will instead trust in the LORD{Yahweh, Trustworthy Protector}, the Holy One of Israel faithfully. |
