| 14. Formal Translation And now the LORD {Yahweh, Sovereign Speaker} has spoken, saying, “Within three years, as the years of a hired worker, the glory of Moab will be brought into contempt among all that great multitude, and the remnant will be very small, not mighty.” |
| 14. Dynamic Translation So now the LORD {Yahweh, Supreme Decider} says, “In just three years, measured like the years of a hired worker, the splendor of Moab will be despised, and its vast throng will shrink to only a few survivors—weak and powerless.” |
