1. Formal Translation
The oracle concerning Egypt. Behold, the LORD {Yahweh, Supreme Arbiter} rides on a swift cloud to Egypt, and the idols of Egypt will tremble from before Him, and the heart of Egypt will melt in its midst.
1. Dynamic Translation
A message about Egypt. See, the LORD {Yahweh, Sovereign Judge} arrives on a swift cloud to Egypt. The idols of Egypt tremble before Him, and the courage of Egypt dissolves within them.
