| 11. Formal Translation Surely the princes of Zoan are fools, the wise counselors of Pharaoh—their counsel has become foolish—how can you say to Pharaoh, “I am the son of wise men, the son of kings of old?” |
| 11. Dynamic Translation The princes of Zoan are utterly foolish, and Pharaoh’s counselors offer senseless advice. How can you claim to Pharaoh, “I come from a line of wise men, a son of ancient kings?” |
