A shift from the plural noun ḥărāḇōṯ {חֲרָבוֹת | ḥărāḇōṯ} ‘swords’ to singular noun–participle pairs ḥereḇ neṭûšā {חֶרֶב נְטוּשָׁה | ḥereḇ neṭûšā} ‘drawn sword’ and qéšeṯ derûḵā {קֶשֶׁת דְּרוּכָה | qéšeṯ derûḵā} ‘strung bow’ creates a crescendo of concrete weapon images.
