| 6. Formal Translation And the LORD of hosts {Yahweh Tseva’ot, Divine Commander} will make for all peoples on this mountain a banquet of rich foods, a feast of wines on the lees {shemārim: unfiltered, well-matured wine}, rich foods full of marrow, and refined wines on the lees. |
| 6. Dynamic Translation The LORD of hosts {Yahweh Tseva’ot, Supreme Protector} will prepare for everyone on this mountain a wonderful banquet with the best foods {shemanim: premium, satisfying foods}, a celebration of aged wines, delicious dishes packed with flavor, and fine, well-purified wines. |
