30. Formal Translation And he will roar over him on that day like the roaring of the sea; and when one looks to the land, behold, darkness and distress {tzar: anguish, narrowness}, and the light is darkened in its clouds. |
30. Dynamic Translation On that day he will roar over him like the sea’s crashing waves; when someone turns to the land, there is only darkness and trouble, and even the daylight is hidden by heavy clouds. |
