1. Formal Translation
And it came to pass in the days of Ahaz the son of Jotham, the son of Uzziah, king of Judah, that Rezin the king of Aram and Pekah the son of Remaliah, king of Israel, went up against Jerusalem to make war against it, but they were not able to wage war against it.
1. Dynamic Translation
During the reign of Ahaz son of Jotham son of Uzziah, king of Judah, Rezin king of Syria and Pekah son of Remaliah king of Israel marched up to Jerusalem to attack it, but they could not overcome it.
