2. Formal Translation And it was told to the house of David, saying, “Aram has joined forces with Ephraim,” and his heart and the heart of his people were shaken, as the trees of the forest are shaken by the wind. |
2. Dynamic Translation The royal house of David was told, “Aram has allied itself with Ephraim.” At this news, the king’s heart and the hearts of his people trembled like trees swaying in the forest. |
