8. Formal Translation For the head of Aram is Damascus, and the head of Damascus is Rezin; and within sixty-five years Ephraim will be shattered from being a people. |
8. Dynamic Translation Because Damascus is the capital of Aram and Rezin is the ruler of Damascus, within sixty-five years Ephraim will be destroyed and will no longer be a nation. |
