11. Formal Translation Do not speak against one another, brothers. Whoever speaks against or judges another brother is speaking against the law and placing it under judgment; if, however, you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but its judge. |
11. Dynamic Translation Brothers and sisters, do not slander one another. When someone speaks against a fellow believer or judges them, they are speaking against the law and judging it. And if you judge the law, you are not keeping it but are assuming the role of its judge. |
