15. Formal Translation For behold, I am calling all the families of the kingdoms of the north, declares the LORD {Yahweh, Covenant Enforcer}. They shall come, and each one shall set his throne at the entrance of the gates of Jerusalem, and against all its walls all around, and against all the cities of Judah. |
15. Dynamic Translation Look, I am summoning the clans of the northern kingdoms, says the LORD {Yahweh, Divine Commander}. They will come and encircle Jerusalem’s gates, pressing against its surrounding walls and against all Judah’s towns. |
