4. Formal Translation Until when will the land mourn, and the grass of all the field wither? From the evil of those dwelling in it, beasts and birds have been consumed, for they have said, "He will not see our latter end." |
4. Dynamic Translation How long must the land grieve, and every field’s grass dry up? Because of the wrongdoing of those living there, even animals and birds are disappearing, for they say, "He will not see what becomes of us." |
