5. Formal Translation
For if you have run with footmen and they have wearied you, how will you compete with horses? And if in a land of peace you are trusting, then how will you fare in the thicket of the Jordan?
5. Dynamic Translation
If racing against people on foot has tired you out, how will you manage competing with horses? And if you feel safe in a peaceful land, what will you do in the wild thickets along the Jordan River?
