Jeremiah 13:7:1וָאֵלֵ֣ךְvaelekhand I went
Jeremiah 13:7:2פְּרָ֔תָהperatato the Euphrates Jeremiah 13:7:3וָאֶחְפֹּ֗רvaekhporand I dug Jeremiah 13:7:4וָֽאֶקַּח֙vaekakhand I took Jeremiah 13:7:5אֶת־הָ֣אֵז֔וֹרethaezorthe loincloth Jeremiah 13:7:6מִן־הַמָּק֖וֹםminhamakomfrom the place Jeremiah 13:7:7אֲשֶׁר־טְמַנְתִּ֣יוashertemantivwhich I had hidden it Jeremiah 13:7:8שָׁ֑מָּהshamathere Jeremiah 13:7:9וְהִנֵּה֙vehineand behold Jeremiah 13:7:10נִשְׁחַ֣תnishkhatit was spoiled Jeremiah 13:7:11הָאֵז֔וֹרhaezorthe loincloth Jeremiah 13:7:12לֹ֥אlonot Jeremiah 13:7:13יִצְלַ֖חyitslakhit will succeed Jeremiah 13:7:14לַכֹּֽל׃פlakolfor anything
7. Formal Translation
So I went to Perath and dug, and I took the waistband from the place where I had hidden it; and behold, the waistband was ruined, and it would not succeed for anything.
7. Dynamic Translation
I went to Perath, dug up the linen belt from where I had hidden it, and—look!—it was ruined. It was completely useless.
