| 19. Formal Translation Have You {Yahweh, Sovereign Judge} utterly rejected Judah, or has Your soul loathed Zion? Why have You struck us so that there is no healing for us? We hoped for peace, but there is no good; and for a time of healing, but behold, terror! |
| 19. Dynamic Translation Have You {Yahweh, Compassionate Refuge} completely turned away from Judah, or do You despise Zion deep in Your soul? Why did You hit us so that there is no cure? We waited for peace, but nothing good came; for a time of healing, but instead, we see panic. |
