Exegesis

The coordinated negative velo yirʾeh {וְלֹא יִרְאֶה | wə-lōʾ yirʾeh} ‘and he will not see’ links to the imperfect clause ki yavo tov {כִּי יָבוֹא טוֹב | kî yābōʾ ṭōv} ‘when good comes’, indicating inability to perceive blessing.
