2. Formal Translation Go and proclaim in the hearing of Jerusalem, saying, “Thus says the LORD {Yahweh, Covenant Remembrancer}: I remember for you the steadfast love of your youth, the love of your bridal days, your following after Me in the wilderness in a land not sown.” |
2. Dynamic Translation Go and tell Jerusalem this: “This is what the LORD {Yahweh, Faithful Promise-Keeper} says: I have not forgotten the devotion you showed as a bride when you followed Me into the desert in a land that had never been planted.” |
