5. Formal Translation Thus says the LORD {Yahweh, Righteous Judge}: “What injustice did your fathers find in Me, that they distanced themselves from Me, walked after vanity, and became vain?” |
5. Dynamic Translation The LORD {Yahweh, Just Accuser} declares: “What fault did your ancestors find in Me, that they strayed from Me, pursued vanity, and became vain?” |
