Formal Translation O house of David, thus says the LORD {Yahweh, Judicial Commander}: Execute justice in the morning, and deliver the one who has been robbed from the hand of the oppressor, so that my wrath does not go out like fire and burn with none to quench it because of the evil of your deeds. |

Dynamic Translation House of David, this is what the LORD {Yahweh, Justice Advocate} says: Morning by morning administer justice, and rescue the one who has been robbed from the oppressor’s hand, or my anger will burst into flame, with no one able to put it out because of the evil of your deeds. |
