The verse concludes with vayvi’em {וַיְבִאֵם | wayᵊḇiʾêm} “and he brought them” to bavel {בָּבֶל | bāḇel} “Babylon.” The layered construct chains and coordinated clauses preserve the solemn progression of the deportation.
