2. Formal Translation Lift up your eyes to the high places and see! Where have you not been violated? By the roads you have sat waiting for them like an Arab in the wilderness, and you have polluted the land with your harlotries and with your evil deeds. |
2. Dynamic Translation Look up at the hilltops and see—where have you not been violated? You have waited by the roadside for others like a desert nomad, and you have corrupted the land with your unfaithfulness and your wrongdoing. |
