Jeremiah 9:10:1עַל־הֶהָרִ֜יםalheharimupon the mountains
Jeremiah 9:10:2אֶשָּׂ֧אesaI will lift up Jeremiah 9:10:3בְּכִ֣יbekhiweeping Jeremiah 9:10:4וָנֶ֗הִיvanehiand wailing Jeremiah 9:10:5וְעַל־נְאֹפ֤וֹתvealneofotand upon the pastures Jeremiah 9:10:6מִדְבָּר֙midbarof wilderness Jeremiah 9:10:7קִינָ֔הkinaa lament Jeremiah 9:10:8כִּ֥יkifor Jeremiah 9:10:9נִצְּת֖וּnitstsuthey are laid waste Jeremiah 9:10:10מִבְּלִי־אִ֣ישׁmibleishfrom without a man Jeremiah 9:10:11עֹבֵ֔רoverpassing through Jeremiah 9:10:12וְלֹ֥אveloand not Jeremiah 9:10:13שָׁמְע֖וּshameuthey have heard Jeremiah 9:10:14ק֣וֹלkolvoice or sound Jeremiah 9:10:15מִקְנֶ֑הmikneof cattle Jeremiah 9:10:16מֵע֤וֹףmeoffrom bird of Jeremiah 9:10:17הַשָּׁמַ֙יִם֙hashamayimthe heavens Jeremiah 9:10:18וְעַד־בְּהֵמָ֔הveadbehemaand unto beast Jeremiah 9:10:19נָדְד֖וּnaddeduthey have fled Jeremiah 9:10:20הָלָֽכוּ׃halekhuthey have gone
10. Formal Translation
For the mountains I will lift up weeping and wailing, and for the pastures of the wilderness a lamentation, because they are scorched, with no one passing through, and the sound of livestock is not heard; the birds of the sky and the beasts have fled and gone away.
10. Dynamic Translation
I will weep and mourn over the mountains and cry over the pastures of the wilderness, because they have been burned up with no one to pass by. The lowing of cattle is silent; the birds in the sky and the beasts have fled and disappeared.
