Source Text: Hebrew (WLC) Job 1:10:1 ⧉הֲלֹֽא־אתhaloetis it not {that} Job 1:10:2 ⧉אַ֠תָּהatayou Job 1:10:3 ⧉שַׂ֣כְתָּsakhtahave hedged in, have fenced Job 1:10:4 ⧉בַעֲד֧וֹvaadoaround him, for him Job 1:10:5 ⧉וּבְעַד־בֵּית֛וֹuveadbetoand around the house of him, and around his house Job 1:10:6 ⧉וּבְעַ֥דuveadand around Job 1:10:7 ⧉כָּל־אֲשֶׁר־ל֖וֹkalasherloall that {is} to him, all that he has Job 1:10:8 ⧉מִסָּבִ֑יבmisavivall around, from around Job 1:10:9 ⧉מַעֲשֵׂ֤הmaasework, deed Job 1:10:10 ⧉יָדָיו֙yadavhis hands Job 1:10:11 ⧉בֵּרַ֔כְתָּberakhtayou have blessed Job 1:10:12 ⧉וּמִקְנֵ֖הוּumiknehuand his livestock, and his property Job 1:10:13 ⧉פָּרַ֥ץparatshas broken out, has increased Job 1:10:14 ⧉בָּאָֽרֶץ׃baaretsin the land |
10. Formal Translation Have You {Yahweh, Hedge-Giving Protector} not placed a hedge around him, around his house, and around everything that belongs to him on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his livestock has increased in the land. |
10. Dynamic Translation Have You {Yahweh, Prosperity Giver} not surrounded him, his household, and all he owns with protection on every side? You have blessed all he does, and his herds have multiplied throughout the land. |
