Source Text: Hebrew (WLC) Job 1:11:1 ⧉וְאוּלָם֙veulambut however Job 1:11:2 ⧉שְֽׁלַֽח־נָ֣אshelakhnastretch out, please Job 1:11:3 ⧉יָֽדְךָ֔yadkhayour hand Job 1:11:4 ⧉וְגַ֖עvegaand touch Job 1:11:5 ⧉בְּכָל־אֲשֶׁר־ל֑וֹbekholasherloon all that is his Job 1:11:6 ⧉אִם־לֹ֥אimloif not Job 1:11:7 ⧉עַל־פָּנֶ֖יךָalpanekhato your face Job 1:11:8 ⧉יְבָרֲכֶֽךָּ׃yevarakhekkahe will bless you |
11. Formal Translation But now extend Your {Yahweh, Sovereign Arbiter} hand and touch all that he possesses; surely he will curse You to Your face. |
11. Dynamic Translation But if You {Yahweh, Tester of Faith} reach out with Your hand and strike everything he owns, he will certainly curse You to Your face. |
