The final clause ve-lo yaamod {וְלֹ֣א יַעֲמֽוֹד | wə-lōʾ yaʿămōḏ} ‘and he does not stand/endure’ uses negation plus imperfect to state the ongoing, general truth: what “comes out” does not remain.
