Job 2:10:1וַיֹּ֣אמֶרvayomerand he said
Job 2:10:2אֵלֶ֗יהָelehato her Job 2:10:3כְּדַבֵּ֞רkedaberas speaking Job 2:10:4אַחַ֤תakhatone Job 2:10:5הַנְּבָלוֹת֙hannevalotthe foolish women Job 2:10:6תְּדַבֵּ֔רִיtedaberiyou speak Job 2:10:7גַּ֣םgamalso Job 2:10:8אֶת־הַטּ֗וֹבethatov{direct object} the good Job 2:10:9נְקַבֵּל֙nekabelshall we receive Job 2:10:10מֵאֵ֣תmeetfrom Job 2:10:11הָאֱלֹהִ֔יםhaelohimGod Job 2:10:12וְאֶת־הָרָ֖עveetharaand {direct object} the evil Job 2:10:13לֹ֣אlonot Job 2:10:14נְקַבֵּ֑לnekabelshall we receive Job 2:10:15בְּכָל־זֹ֛אתbekholzotin all this Job 2:10:16לֹא־חָטָ֥אlokhatadid not sin Job 2:10:17אִיּ֖וֹבiyovJob Job 2:10:18בִּשְׂפָתָֽיו׃פbisfatavwith his lips
10. Formal Translation
But he said to her, “You speak like one of the foolish women speaks. Should we receive good from God {Elohim, Sovereign Ruler over Circumstances}, and not also receive evil? In all this Job did not sin with his lips.”
10. Dynamic Translation
He answered her, “You sound like a foolish woman. Must we welcome good from God {Elohim, Supreme Giver of Outcomes} but refuse to accept adversity?” Yet in all of this, Job did not sin in what he said.
