21. Formal Translation And Joshua came at that time and cut off the Anakim from the hill country of Hebron, Debir and Anab, and from all the hill country of Judah and all the hill country of Israel. With their cities, Joshua utterly destroyed them. |
21. Dynamic Translation At that time, Joshua cut off the Anakim from the hill country—including Hebron, Debir and Anab, as well as all the hill country of Judah and all the hill country of Israel. He then completely destroyed them and their strongholds. |
