21. Formal Translation And all the cities of the plain, and all the kingdom of Sihon, king of the Amorite, who reigned in Heshbon, whom Moses struck down, and the chiefs of Midian—Evi, Rekem, Zur, Khur, and Reva, princes of Sihon—who were dwelling in the land. |
21. Dynamic Translation Every city on the plateau and the entire realm ruled by Sihon, king of the Amorites, who had reigned in Heshbon, were defeated by Moses along with the Midianite leaders—Evi, Rekem, Zur, Khur, and Reva—who were princes of Sihon and lived in that region. |
