| 30. Formal Translation Phinehas the priest, with the assembly’s princes and the chiefs of Israel’s thousands who were with him, heard the words spoken by the sons of Reuben, the sons of Gad, and the sons of Manasseh, and the report met with favor. |
| 30. Dynamic Translation When Phinehas the priest and the community leaders, along with the chiefs of the Israelite clans who were with him, listened to what the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the Manassites said, it seemed right to them. |
