Formal Translation And Phinehas son of Eleazar the priest said to the sons of Reuben, and to the sons of Gad, and to the sons of Manasseh, “Today we know that the LORD {Yahweh, Covenant Witness} is in our midst because you have not committed this act of treachery against the LORD. Now you have delivered the people of Israel from the hand of the LORD.” |

Dynamic Translation Phinehas, the priest and son of Eleazar, told the tribes of Reuben, Gad, and Manasseh, “Today we realize that the LORD {Yahweh, Faithful Protector} is among us, because you have not been unfaithful to the LORD in this matter. You have spared the people of Israel from the LORD’s hand of judgment.” |
